BamaPlants We both grew up keeping fish and aquariums. As adults, a few aquariums became many, and our hobby evolved into a business. We found that this is not at all true.

Eventually, and as we got a bit older, our focus moved somewhat away from fish and more toward planted tanks and aquascaping. Like many, we believed the myth that keeping planted tanks was difficult. In fact, several of our clients spend quality time with their children, working on their tanks. It's so easy, that the kids can help. The widespread popularity of planted tanks is still a fairly new p

henomena. A few have made it their mission to "cash in" on an ever more popular hobby. However, there is no point in providing the kids with a simple but fun, daily lesson in biology or water chemistry if you have to spend their college fund to do it. There is no reason to pay huge markups on plants, soils, and fertilizers. Ken has a degree in biochemistry, which allows us to mix our own "good stuff" and to grow some spectacular plants. We are not a corporation, beholden to stockholders, nor is this a side business that we really do not have time to maintain. This is what we do, and we have decided to do it like things were done many years ago. We are committed to providing impeccably packaged, top quality products, at the lowest possible price. Further, we provide something that is almost unheard of anymore, customer service. Big business has it all wrong. It's not just about selling more product, and maximizing profits. It's about teaching people to use and maintain the products that you have sold them. It's about growing a business slowly, the right way. Though not under water, it was our grandparents that taught us how to grow plants....and how to grow a business.

Howdy, Y'all.it is fast becoming summer hot down here. I am doing my best to keep things under control and offer as many plants as I can as always.. It has been awhile since I have promoted Aquabid's SNE but...🤔 ANYWAY SNE is Tomorrow, Saturday Night , May 18 th!!! SNE is starting at 7pm eastern and running until at least 10pm eastern on Aquabid.com . I keep running auctions until about 1 am eastern. You can look at the auctions running at any time starting at 7pm eastern at https://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?disp&onehour . Remember that auctions run for only one hour long so things will be coming up as available and dropping off all the time. I only have 110 different auctions to run. I have , Bucephalandra and and Dwarf Hairgrass on wood. There will be a variety of things available from stem plants, driftwood, ceramics, mosses, floating plants, pond plants, lilies, ginger, swords, vals, Aponogetons etc. BUT you can always add from my website in case there is something you want but is not listed or if you are in chat ask me to make an auction for it. Hi All, I have been out of touch for a few. I went to the hospital last week with a foot infection.. lost some bone but I am on the mend here.. hobbling still but I am up and walking and getting back to work.. I am pretty well caught up I think with all the orders that came in while I was out.. LOL

Anyway, TONIGHT June 16, 2018 is SNE on Aquabid.com

I am listing auctions.. only about 100 this time as I was trying to do more than I could handle then and definitely need to take it a bit easier right now.. Anyway the usual deal still applies, Fast one hour long auctions, fire sale pricing - at least on my stuff- and the cheapest flat rate shipping deal to be found -I THINK. You can also add Aquarium plants and the like from my website with no added shipping cost.. but not potted plants though I still will give you a rocking good deal there too.
