🌺 W O W 🙏🏼 The first annual Children’s Place Mother Daughter tea was incredible thanks to some truly special women at GBUMC. We are grateful for their efforts and loved to see all the littles faces light up. Thank you to all you joined to make this event special. We hope it becomes a cherished memory for years to come.

The Art show was a great success! GBUMC will leave the children’s art work up on display through Sunday for the congregation to see. We are so grateful for all who joined as we know spring is a busy season. Hats off to our incredible VPK team who went above and beyond to make it happen- we are blessed to have you!!

We are so beyond grateful to our GBPD for taking the time to meet with us on our in-service day for a hard corner training. They were so informative and very thorough- we were blessed to have their time! We hope everyone had a wonderful spring break and look forward to welcoming our children back in the morning!

Let’s hear it for our H E N R Y B!!!! What a wonderful little boy who has blessed our school and staff with immense joy. Today we recognize World Downs Syndrome day to bring awareness to our peers with a third 21st chromosome. To know him is to love him- since 3/21 falls over our break, please join us Wednesday, 3/25 and rock your crazy socks to celebrate our Henry!

Allison Carroll, Director of The Children’s Place

Allison "Ally" Carroll is excited to serve as Director of The Children’s Place Preschool and VPK. With more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Ally brings a deep love for children, families, and the teachers who care for them each day.

Ally holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has served in a variety of roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, infant and toddler specialist, and early childhood center leader. Her experience spans supporting teachers, strengthening curriculum, and building high-quality, nurturing learning environments where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

At the heart of Ally's work is a belief that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and valued—and when families and teachers are supported as partners in that journey. She is passionate about mentoring educators, fostering strong relationships with families, and helping schools grow with purpose and care.

Ally is grateful to be part of The Children’s Place community and looks forward to walking alongside families and staff as they continue to nurture young hearts and minds in a loving, faith-filled environment.
