If you want to work in law enforcement, a major part of your job is being prepared to physically overcome the resistance of a violent criminal. If you aren’t training to fight and staying in good physical condition, you aren’t prepared to do your job. You are a liability and it’s disrespectful to your partners and anyone who cares about you.
