Adult Summer Semester Begins next week!!

Our Adult Summer Semester begins next week, and there’s still time to get involved - but classes are filling fast! From blacksmithing and metals & jewelry to ceramics, fiber arts, weaving, stone sculpture, painting, drawing, and more, the summer lineup offers something for every interest, skill level, and creative curiosity.

Whether you’re trying something brand new or returning to a favorite studio practice, this is your chance to explore, experiment, and make this season your most creative yet.

Guilford Art Center Seeks Teen Volunteers for Summer Youth Program

If you like working with kids and enjoy all kinds of art, you’re an ideal candidate for our summer volunteer program! Volunteers will serve as classroom assistants, helping instructors and supporting young artists. Volunteers will receive community service credit if desired. Opportunities to help with morning or afternoon weekly sessions are available throughout the summer.
Please note: GAC is required to perform a background check on all teen volunteers since they are working with children ages 5-12. Details will be sent to volunteers and their guardians for permission.

We have a few openings in our Floor Loom Weaving summer class! This is a unique opportunity to get a spot in our weaving studio for an 8 week class.
Session A: 8 Wednesdays beginning June 24, 9:30AM-12:30PM
Session B: 8 thursdays beginning June 25, 9:00AM-12:00PM
