PROVEN ONCE AGAIN…..NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU. Our safety and the safety of our loved ones should not be exclusively in the hands of the government. The second amendment exists for a reason.

WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OUR LOVED ONES.

If the second amendment goes away, what you see in this video may be what you are relying on when your life or the lives of your loved ones are hanging in the balance.

As a Woman Was R***d, Train Riders Failed to Intervene, Police Say 11/24/2021

Here we are people. The year 2021 soon to be 2022. You defend yourself and the media attacks you and ruins your life. Police defend society, the media attacks them and ruins their lives.

YET SOMEHOW, the media is then ASTONISHED that people choose NOT to help a citizen under attack facing grave bodily harm and/or possible death!!

People can't even defend THEMSELVES without their lives being ruined. What makes ANYONE think that they will come to the defense of OTHERS?!!!

DEAR MAINSTREAM MEDIA,

YOU CREATED THIS! PLEASE DO NOT PRETEND YOU ARE CONCERNED!!

As a Woman Was R***d, Train Riders Failed to Intervene, Police Say The SEPTA train car near Philadelphia had several passengers aboard but none called 911 while the woman was sexually assaulted, the authorities said.

Famed Lawyer Alan Dershowitz Says It’s ‘Likely’ On-Set Hutchins Killing A ‘Homicide’ 10/26/2021

Forget an armorer, forget a prop master, forget an assistant director, forget ANYONE handing someone a firearm that is to be aimed at anyone or anything and fired, and who tells that person the gun is in a condition that is safe to do so. When it comes to lives at stake, THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS when it comes to determining if a gun is unloaded, loaded with blanks, is merely a prop, or in other words IS SAFE, IS THE PERSON PULLING THE TRIGGER.

When it comes to someone putting a firearm in your possession, NEVER TAKE ANYONE'S WORD ON ITS CONDITION. You can also forget, "But in this situation, its not the actors job. He/she had no idea the gun was in a dangerous condition ." Well it ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be their job and THEY SHOULD have an idea of the condition. Dershowitz says, “It seems clear that Alec Baldwin was not aware that he was firing a gun capable of expelling a lethal projectile,” WELL WHY WASNT HE?? If you are in the business of regularly handling potentially life threatening fi****ms, FI****MS TRAINING SHOULD BE REQUIRED. YOU SHOULD HAVE AN AWARENESS.

These actors make the decision to sometimes spend MONTHS AND MONTHS working with characters they are supposed to be portraying. Its a testament to their commitment to doing there job correctly and to the highest degree. There is ZERO REASON why they can not or should not be expected to take the time to be certified to safely handle and check a firearm, and to be the final checkpoint to confirm a firearm they will be using is safe to do so, ESPECIALLY IF IT INVOLVES POINTING IT AT SOMEONE!! If Baldwin knew how to determine if the gun was safe and did so, this tragedy does not happen.

Unfortunately, the only way anything changes is if actors are charged when it comes to tragedies such is this. That would potentially open the eyes of all of acting royalty once they realize they can be affected. THEN there may be some initiative on their part to be more aware of fi****ms safety since their occupation sometimes calls for the use of actual fi****ms. If this goes the way of the Brandon Lee tragedy, where charges were not filed against the shooter, all actors will more than likely remain complacent, due to the assumption that if they found themselves in the same situation, they would get a pass.

Although most times prop guns incapable of firing a lethal round are used in filming movies, as we know, many times actual fi****ms capable of firing lethal rounds are in fact used. That being said, give me another occupation which regularly involves the use of potentially lethal fi****ms that does not require some type of safety certification or where the person shooting the firearm is not accountable for what happens after they pull the trigger. Somehow, there are those that feel that the occupation of acting, relieves you from accountability if you point a gun at someone, pull the trigger, and end up killing them.

What would be the expectation if you were simulating a shootout with a group of friends at an outdoor range using blanks, and somebody was killed by a live round from your gun that was given to you by someone who told you the gun was safe?? THE OBVIOUS AND OVERWHELMING QUESTION WOULD BE, "DIDN'T YOU CHECK IT YOURSELF?". Im pretty sure you would be expected to be charged, and Im pretty sure people would expect for you to be found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. It wouldn't matter that you didn't mean it, or that you were distraught after it happened or that you cooperated and fully supported the victim's family or that you already feel bad enough and have to live the rest of your life with that. People would shake their head at the fact that you just took someone else's word and expect you to be held accountable. BUT, somehow, once again, if you are famous, it is rules for thee but not for me. Don't get me wrong. I FEEL VERY TERRIBLY for Alec Baldwin and that he has to live with this for the rest of his life. Just as I would for anyone else that had such a terrible tragedy like this happen to them. BUT, that doesn't mean that liability on his part does not exist.

Man Who Allegedly R***d Woman On Train Is Criminal Illegal Alien, Was Not Deported: Report 10/20/2021

Let me first start by saying that my heart goes out to the victim and I wish her a speedy recovery, both mentally and physically.

It's surprising to me how people are shocked by the fact that none of the bystanders in this situation did anything to help this poor woman. THIS IS A SIGN OF THE TIMES. It's a harsh reality that people need to start accepting and then respond accordingly. Societal narratives have made it so people are AFRAID to help ANYONE. Even the police have become apprehensive about their actions based on the fact that ANYTHING they do in response to violence can be spun into a narrative against them. The same holds true for bystanders. As crazy as it sounds, if a white man stepped forward and pummeled the ra**st piece of garbage, he could face allegations of a hate crime against a black man. If black man stepped forward, he could face allegations of a hate crime against an immigrant. THIS IS THE REALITY OF THE CURRENT CLIMATE WHEN IT COMES TO CRIMINALS. Someone or some group, ALWAYS has something to say about the actions of a Samaritan. Either could find himself in court, losing all he has worked for to pay for his defense. Should he HAVE to put that at risk to stop a man that should have been stopped long before he had the opportunity to commit this crime. Absolutely NOT.

Another reality people need to understand is that in the fi****ms community, if you carry and are properly trained, you know and understand that the firearm is for YOUR OWN protection and/or for the protection of your loved ones. PERIOD. Getting involved in the defense of others (strangers) is NOT ADVISABLE. When you do this, you are risking YOUR life, and the lives of your family members due to the strong possibility of either death or financial ruin. There is just TOO MUCH at stake. Anyone else in society has the same right to the second amendment as you do. It is up to the individual to exercise that right just as you have. You DO NOT have a duty to protect as a civilian carrying a firearm. For more on this, here is a link to an article by renown defense trainer Greg Ellifritz:
https://www.activeresponsetraining.net/should-you-be-the-hero

I have said it here time and time again, NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU. Not bystanders, not the police (by the time they get there it's too late). ACCEPT the fact that WE are the ONLY ONES responsible for our own safety and well being. Get some self defense training, or (IN THIS ORDER) take a fi****ms class, get your permit, get some fi****ms defense training, learn the law of self defense, then purchase and carry a firearm.

NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU

Police: California homeowner shoots, kills intruder who kicked down door during breakfast 07/09/2021

Yes. These things happen quite regularly. Even in the states with the most stringent gun laws. In fact, they seem to happen more frequently in areas/places that put the most regulations on fi****ms owned by private citizens. Look at Chicago. Look at NYC. It seems the only people that have guns there are the criminals. And we are shocked at the level of crime there involving fi****ms???

Just want to hit on some points/reminders to keep people who carry every day and the people they encounter in the public space safe.

The only thing that makes a firearm dangerous is human interaction. Being well trained and regularly utilizing that training will mitigate situations with unwanted outcomes.

Only unholster your firearm in the public space when you need to use it in a self defense situation. Showing your firearm to a friend, unholstering to use the bathroom etc etc, is not recommended. If it is in its holster, on your person, not much can happen.

ALWAYS carry your firearm IN A HOLSTER. As crazy as it may seem that that has to be said, many carry inside the waist band with NO HOLSTER. This is known as carrying "Mexican". DON'T DO IT! Plaxico Burress (among many other less famous people) will tell you why. If that trigger guard is left uncovered, the odds of a negligent discharge happening have increased exponentially. I recommend using a FULL KYDEX holster. Kydex holsters maintain their integrity MUCH better than Leather, nylon, etc. Leather can fold on itself and possibly make it's way into the trigger guard when holstering creating a negligent discharge situation. Nylon will normally close on itself which creates a situation where you may muzzle sweep yourself upon holstering, in an attempt to open the holster with the muzzle to reholster.

DO NOT remove your firearm from your person, even if still in the holster, while in the public space. Public bathrooms, bathrooms at friends houses, taking it off while driving, etc etc. is not recommended. We all have a hundred things on our minds. Forgetting fi****ms and leaving them up for grabs in the public space has become quite common. This is a VERY good way of your firearm falling into the hands of the wrong person. If it is on your person at all times, you mitigate the possibility of leaving it anywhere. Lastly, carrying your firearm in a purse/backpack etc, IS NOT ON YOUR PERSON! Forget your bag somewhere, and you forget your firearm. Aside from that, good luck accessing your firearm from there in the event that you find yourself in immediate need of it. There are instances that are few and far between where you will be able to defend yourself with your firearm if you are carrying it in a purse or bag. It needs to be IMMEDIATELY accessible!

USE A QUICK ACCESS SAFE. Actually, have many of them. Stage one in your car. If you MUST leave your firearm in the car, store it in a safe. They are cheap, easy to use, and there is really no excuse NOT to have one. I found myself in a situation where I had to go to the hospital to meet up with my wife who was taken there because she fell ill. I was able to store my firearm in the safe in my car while I was at the hospital. They are also great to stage around the house in the rooms you are in the most. Living room, kitchen, bedroom etc. "But I don't have any kids. I can just leave it out on the counter or top of the fridge". You could. Next thing ya know you wake up realizing there is somebody in your house and you left your gun on the counter or on top of the fridge. Do they have your gun? Who knows?? Bottom line is, ALWAYS know where your firearm is and that it is safe where it is. They way to do that is to have it in a safe if it is not on your person.

Carry concealed. Is it legal to open carry a firearm in CT? YEP. However, you can do MANY things that are within the law that are not responsible/reasonable. You can leave a bleach container in an unlocked cabinet within reach of your toddler, you can leave a 10k Rolex in the cup holder of your car, you can call a 250 lb 5th degree black belt names and say terrible things about his wife and mother. Are these things legal? YEP. Should you do them? Probably not. I can list a hundred things but you get the point. One of your BIGGEST ASSETS in a self defense situation is the element of surprise. YOU have the advantage if your adversary does not know your are carrying. HE has the advantage if he knows you are. Regardless of that, you are making the people around you uncomfortable. Now some may say, "too bad for them". But really, too bad for YOU if they decide they want to make some trouble for you. This day and age, there is a lot of that going around. Just keep it concealed and save yourself the possible aggravation.

OK...RANT OVER!

BE SAFE AND BE WELL!!

Please be in touch if you wish to further your fi****ms training or even just to review it!
