Ah Evergreen Woods- I will miss you! Today was our last class. What a wonderful group of seniors I’ve had the pleasure of teaching for the past two years. It’s been an honor to inspire your interest in art and help rekindle your creativity and skills. Thank you for all the wonderful conversations, memories, laughter, and joy we’ve shared together.

“ Busy Bugs” did not disappoint. Kids had a blast creating their own species ( and naming them). Week 2 of this 5 week series is going fast.

My Beginning Drawing students enjoyed drawing seashells with a mix of media today. So nice to think of warm weather themes again!

Upcycled Gardens were a HUGE hit at this morning’s workshop 🌿🌸✨! The kids had an absolute blast learning cutting techniques ✂️ to create their flower petals and then designing and “planting” their own beautiful gardens 🌼🪴💚
It’s always such a joy being there, and I can’t wait to come back again soon! 😊 Miss Katie is doing an AMAZING job introducing science concepts 🔬 in such a fun and accessible way—even for the youngest learners 👏👩🔬.

We wrapped up this week’s classes with a collection of truly amazing bunny drawings! 🐰✨ Through these compositions, our adult students explored essential artistic concepts like value, shape, and line while gaining hands-on experience with graphite pencils. The results were not only impressive but also a testament to their growing confidence and creativity.

A great end to our Winter Workshop Series at Brown Elementary School. Kids had a blast creating these adorable Spring Bunny scenes just in time for the holidays. A great mix of media kept kids engaged the whole time. Model magic/ marker marbling for the eggs.

Saturdays are now my prep days for upcoming Events. This little Easter Bunny is all packed up for this weeks after school clubs. I hope the kids have as much fun creating him as much as I did!
