Guilford Special Ed PTO Presents: Transitioning in Guilford Schools From Pre-K to Post HS

OPEN TO ALL GUILFORD FAMILIES, Guilford SEPTO is pleased to partner with Jason Sconziano and Pupil Services Coordinators to provide an overview and roundtable discussion on transitions between Guilford Public Schools from a Pupil Servies perspective. This will cover Pre-K through the Transition Program after Guilford High School.

The most requested topic over the past year has been around Transitions: what teams look like, communications, services offered and the transition of information from team-to-team.

Have a specific question you would like addressed? SEPTO is gathering any and all questions from our community and providing them to GPS to address during our meeting.

This will be our first hybrid in-person/zoom meeting. To submit questions, register and get the link, visit GuilfordSEPTO.org/events. This is the first time we will be meeting at GPS Central Offices at 595 New England Road (Building next to GHS). Please park in "Visitor" spots located in front and behind the Central Offices building.

The 2026-2027 Budget Referendum for Guilford, AKA Town & School Budget Vote, is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 6am-8pm. Arm yourself with the facts and please feel free to share:

We would never tell you how to vote, we just want our community’s voices heard. Please arm yourself with the facts and get to the polls. Our students depend on you.

In short: The Board of Finance approved a budget for FY2026-2027 totaling $129,413,203. This budget was reached after the Board of Finance cut the Board of Education budget by $300,000 and the Town budget by $450,000. This would result in a proposed mill rate of 28.78.
