Summer is a break from school, but it’s also a transition. Some students thrive with the flexibility, while others benefit from a little structure to help them stay confident and connected to learning. ☀️

Who remembers the mama bird who built her nest in our hanging plant last summer? Looks like we are a popular spot- here we go again! We will have to let our plant die so we don’t disrupt nature. 🪺

Executive functioning skills are the “behind-the-scenes” brain skills that help kids manage school, emotions, routines, and everyday life. These struggles are not about intelligence. They are about skills that are still developing.
Executive functioning skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened with the right support.
