Dear Parents,
Please read all of the following information regarding the Back-to-School Bash on August 21, 2026.
We are excited to welcome everyone back with our Back-to-School Bash on August 21 from 3:00–5:00 PM. The admission price includes entry to the event along with a snack and drink for each student. Food trucks will also be on-site, offering additional food options for students who wish to make their own purchases.
To register for the event, please scan the QR code or download the GoFan app and search for Grovetown Middle School. From there, select the "Welcome Back Bash 2026" choice, fill in the required information, and complete payment. Your child's name will populate on a list for the school to use as entrance to the event.
Please note that all tickets must be purchased in advance through GoFan. There will be no same-day ticket sales, and no cash sales are permitted. Ticket sales will close on August 20 at 11:59 PM.
For safety and supervision, students will not be allowed to leave the event early. The front office will be closed once the bash begins and will not be available for early dismissal assistance. Parents will not be allowed in the event area for safety, security, and supervision purposes.
At 5:00 PM, staff will es**rt all students to the front of the building for pickup. Pickup will take place in the car rider line at the front of the school. This event is always well attended by students, so please be on time/early ready for pickup. The bus ramp will not be accessible to parents due to food trucks and buses occupying that area.
We look forward to a fun and safe celebration to kick off the school year!

GTMS Family,
What an incredible week it has been at GTMS! From the moment our students walked through the doors on Tuesday, the energy on campus has been unmistakable—focused, joyful, and full of promise. Our classrooms are buzzing with curiosity, our hallways are filled with kindness and leadership, and our teachers are bringing their very best every single day!
Most importantly, your children are rising to meet every expectation we set. They are showing us—through their effort, their engagement, and their character—that the future is increasingly bright for them this year. We are seeing early signs of growth, confidence, and momentum that make us tremendously excited for what lies ahead.
Thank you for your partnership, your encouragement, and the trust you place in us. Together, we are building a school year that will open doors, strengthen skills, and help every GTMS student SHINE!

Our halls are once again filled with smiling faces, excitement, and the energy that makes our school such a special place. We are so glad to welcome our students back and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year.
