🎉🤠 What an unforgettable week at the 2026 Texas FFA State Convention! 💙💛

Our Centerville-Groveton FFA members had an absolute blast making memories, meeting new friends, visiting with colleges and agricultural companies, and learning so much along the way!

A huge congratulations to Brance Dial and his roping partner for an incredible 2nd Place Overall finish in the Texas FFA Rodeo! 🏆🐴 We were also so proud to cheer on Kyleigh Bogs, who represented our chapter in both barrel racing and breakaway roping. She had some amazing barrel racing runs, and it was so much fun cheering her on throughout the rodeo!

From exploring the Fort Worth Stockyards, attending inspiring general sessions, and discovering new opportunities in agriculture, to singing our hearts out at the Aaron Watson concert and wrapping up the week at Neon Fun Night with some amazingly talented FFA members—it was a convention to remember!

One of our favorite parts of the week was seeing our students come together each evening for Bible study. It was a special time to reflect, encourage one another, and grow together in faith, making the week even more meaningful.

This year's convention also included a heartfelt moment as Texas FFA honored our precious Kelly Dial. Seeing her recognized was incredibly special. She touched so many lives, and she is truly loved, deeply missed, and will always be a part of our Centerville-Groveton FFA family. 💙💛

We came home with new friendships, new ideas, stronger faith, and even more excitement for the year ahead. Now it's time to bring everything we learned back to our chapter and continue growing together.

💙💛 Work hard. Learn together. Grow in faith. Honor those who inspire us. Make memories. That's what FFA is all about!

The boys advance to the Regional Finals with a 1-0 extra innings victory over Apple Springs! Both teams put on an incredible display of pitching and defense and left it all on the field! Details for Round 4 will be announced asap!

Centerville ISD had a day to remember when Cody Johnson made a surprise visit to campus! 🎤

He shared an inspiring message with our students about hard work, faith, and never giving up—reminding them to chase their dreams “’til they can’t.” From his journey of setbacks to success, Cody proved that big dreams really can come from small towns.

He also gave back in a big way by supporting our Ag Department, making a lasting impact on our students and FFA program. 🌾🐄

A huge thank you to Mr. Fortenberry for helping make this unforgettable day happen—it meant more than words can say! 💙
