Hey friends! 🌟 Today, I'm diving into the world of voice-to-text apps because typing has become quite the challenge for me lately. After some research (a little at a time, of course), I've narrowed it down to two contenders: Super Whisper and Letterly. πŸŽ™οΈπŸ“± I'm excited to test them out and see which one works best. Stay tuned for updates on my journey to make life a bit easier! 😊

I finally finished a blog update! πŸ˜ƒπŸ’œπŸ’œ It only took me 6 months from start to finish!! πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«I am hopeful more will come!

Sometimes when I think maybe my cognition is getting better, Lewy always reminds me.

I bought a new pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones and wanted to pair them to my iPhone and iPad. I am a gadget geek so a few years ago this would have taken me 10 minutes. Easy peasy.

It took me literally 3 hours to do the same thing. I couldn’t understand the β€œeasy” quick guide with pictures. I could t understand the written directions. I had to go online and find three different YouTube videos before I could FINALLY get them both paired at the same time.

Beyond frustrating! I had to stop myself about 5x from taking the iPad, the headphones or both and throwing them against the wall. Thankfully I am too friggin stubborn to quit anything, but my frustration levels were going through the roof.

Lewy sucks but I’m still beating him! πŸ˜‚

As a veteran I am disgusted and appalled that this is even being considered.

Because (LBD) symptoms can closely resemble other more commonly known diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, it is currently widely under-diagnosed.

It has been a while since I posted anything. I spent a few weeks out of commission between a hospital stay and a couple weeks in short term rehab before I could come back home. My left side is very weak and am having to use a wheelchair now to get around. Doing outpatient PT to hopefully get stronger. Each time I decline I don’t come back as strong as I did before.

I am much foggier now and get so tired very quickly. I have gotten so I like to stay in my room as much as possible to reduce all the noise and over stimulation - I just have a hard time. Seems so weird to me that I am so exhausted by the end of the day I am in my bed at 7:30 and asleep by 9.

While this new chapter is not fun, I know I am still blessed with the love of my family. I’m not done living yet! πŸ˜„β€οΈ
