Last night we celebrated an incredible year filled with music, memories, friendships, and growth across all of our bands. We are so proud of everything our students accomplished this year and all the awards and achievements they earned along the way.

Thank you to all of the families, friends, staff, and community members who supported our band program throughout this school year. Your support means so much to our students and directors.

As we look ahead to next season, we are excited to welcome nearly double the number of students and continue building something special together!

To our 10 graduating seniors — thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the memories you’ve helped create. We wish you the very best on your next adventure and hope you’ll always come back and visit your band family. ❤️🖤🎶

Tonight we kicked off our 2026–2027 marching band season tonight with sign-ups, and we’re so excited to see our program grow! Huge thank you to all the students and parents who came out—we can’t wait to make this season an unforgettable one. 🎶

As we look ahead, we’re hoping to get some sponsors for our Friday night dinners (We feed the kids before we head out to the football games on Friday nights). Each week we will feed around 120 people, including our students, band directors, staff, and pit crew. We want to make sure our kids are well-fed and full of energy so they can give their best and support our band all season long.

We’d be so grateful for any support to help sponsor these meals throughout the season.

Noah is currently a freshman at the High School who is already making his mark in the band program

Looking ahead, Noah has big goals—he hopes to continue his musical journey by playing in the marching band at THE Ohio State University!

🎶 Senior Spotlight: Kyle Murphy 🎶

Kyle Murphy is one of our talented senior mellophone and French horn players, and you can also catch him on trumpet in our jazz band! 🎺

During his time in the program, Kyle has had the opportunity to learn music through various honor bands and experiences. While he plans to pursue a career as a lineman with Columbus Water & Power, music will always remain an important part of his life.

Kyle shared that he wishes he had gotten even more involved during his high school years—but he’s incredibly proud of his section and the band as a whole. 💛

We’re excited to see all that Kyle accomplishes and know he’ll continue to support music wherever life takes him. He’s also looking forward to seeing how much the band continues to grow in the years ahead!

What a surprise to end an already amazing day!

Our students had the incredible opportunity to meet Tia Fuller—an internationally known alto saxophonist! She even called them down from the stage to come meet her personally.

Moments like these are what it’s all about… inspiring the next generation of musicians. What a perfect way to wrap up a full day! 🎷✨

🎶 What an Amazing Day at The Ohio State University! 🎶

Today, our Jazz Band had the opportunity to attend High School Jazz Band Day at OSU. Our students performed pieces they’ve been working hard on and spent time touring campus, making lasting memories together.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to our very own, Faith Wright for an outstanding accomplishment! 🎷✨ She earned Top Soloist for our ensemble and received a scholarship to attend OSU’s Jazz Summer Camp!

Even more impressive—Faith was recognized as the top saxophone player of the entire day across all participating schools. What an incredible honor!

We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work, dedication, and the way they represented our program today. 🎶🖤❤️

Join us for the 2026 State of the Schools Celebration tomorrow evening, Wednesday, March 25, as we reflect on the past year's achievements and look towards the future.

Doors open at 6:15 PM ahead of the 7:00 PM presentation. The night features student performances and the annual District Art Show. Meet with district leadership and our community partners. Enjoy light refreshments from the culinary arts students of Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools. Celebrate our students and schools. It's Great to be a Cruiser!
