So, my librarian heart melted today! These kids were so excited to name and adopt their gingerbread baby! 🩷 With the shortened week, I needed to get a head start on our adoptions. Our reading initiative will officially begin Dec. 2nd!

Adopt a Gingerbread Baby Reading Incentive!

I’m so excited to launch a sweet new reading program in the library called “Adopt a Gingerbread Baby!” Each student will get to “adopt” their very own gingerbread baby and promise to read to it for at least 10 minutes each night for 10 nights.

When they return their reading log, they’ll be entered into a drawing to win fun prizes like books, LEGOs, and Squishmallows!

The Lower Elementary Book Fair starts tomorrow! Come visit the Spookiest Book Fair On Earth! There are truly so many amazing books! October 8th- 14th, 8:30am -3:00pm, and 4:00pm 6:45pm on October 14th. See you at the fair!
