DECA ICDC 2025 | Orlando
Day 4 - DECA Achievement by Awards & Magic Kingdom

We went over to the convention center for Achievement Awards! We didn’t have anyone place but so proud of our kids competing against students from all over the world! 🌎

Afterwards we went to Magic Kingdom for the evening! We got there about 11:30 and had castle pictures and lunch! Then it was time to ride!! Our kids are troopers and knocked out all of the big attractions at Magic Kingdom! We caught the fireworks on the way out so we didn’t have to fight the crowds! 🪄🌟

That’s a wrap on ICDC! Time to travel home! ✈️

DECA ICDC 2025 | Orlando
Day 3 - DECA Competition/Workshops & DECA Night at Universal

Today our kids competed against 22,000 students from across the world! To say we are proud would be an understatement, these kids amaze us every single day! We are missing just one competitor’s picture 😭 Ms. Bradford had to work her competitive event today. Pin trading is in full swing too!

After competition it was time for DECA Night at Universal/Islands of Adventure! It was BUSY with DECA kids, but a good time!

DECA ICDC 2025 | Orlando
Day 2 - DECA Testing/Workshops & Hollywood Studios

Our kids had workshops and testing today, so not too many pictures of that! Mrs. Lowe also had to work testing. After testing wrapped up we went over to Hollywood Studios and started on our Lightning Lanes we had lined up! We knocked out the whole park and closed it down in the Slinky Dog Dash line. The hotel bus decided it didn’t want us to ride home, so we took the scenic route and got to ride the Skyliner!

Another great day, up next COMPETITION!! Good luck to all of our CCHS students as they compete among 22,000 students across the country!

DECA ICDC 2025 | Orlando
Day 1 - Universal Orlando & Islands of Adventure

Our kids started BIG - Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s! We had a very successful day even though the parks were very busy! We saved all of the water rides for the end so we could head straight back to the hotel and not be soaked in wet clothes all day!

There were some core memories made today and a lot of laughs, so not too many pictures!

DECA ICDC 2025 - Orlando
Travel Day ✈️

Started our day early with a drive to Pensacola!

PNS ➡️ MIA ➡️ MCO

We had great flights and our kiddos are becoming experts at this! We only had one new flyer, and she rocked it! We landed in Orlando around 4:30 and then it became very fast-paced! Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Flo, from Jackson, had to run over to the convention center for attraction tickets, and when they got back we had team dinner at Planet Hollywood - some of our kids favorite! Afterwards we had the Alabama Delegation meeting back at the hotel, then it was off to bed to prepare for Universal Orlando.

Clarke County Schools wants to wish Emma Crosby, senior at Clarke County High School, the best of luck as she represents Clarke County in the Distinguished Young Woman of Alabama program next weekend. We are so incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see you shine on the stage in Montgomery!
