Thanks to BluEarth Renewals, the greenhouses have arrived!

On behalf of our students, staff, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) community, we want to express our sincere gratitude for their generous support. Thanks to BluEarth's contribution, we were able to acquire three greenhouses and a garden shed for our programs.

These additions will make a immediate, lasting impact on our CTE students by providing them with hands-on, real-world learning opportunities.

The greenhouses and garden shed were purchased from Grandview Buildings.

ACGC 10th graders had an opportunity to participate in Ignite Your Future hosted by Ridgewater College in Hutchinson. Students were able to learn and participate in a variety of college and career programs. This trip gave students the opportunity to connect with instructors and companies in the area to help them better understand careers they are considering for their future. Other students used the trip as an opportunity to learn about careers because they're formulating ideas for their future.

Over the past couple of days, students in Ms. Stangā€™s Baking and Pastry class have been learning about the different types of cookies and what makes each one unique. Today, each group had the opportunity to present their findings to the class and, of course, share a cookie with their classmates!

A big thank you to for donating 50 pounds of sugar for us to use during this lab and for many more baking adventures to come!
