We had a morning Forest Babies session and then an afternoon filled with Nature Play! Wow! What a fantastic time. Some of the coolest and cutest little ones around! 🌳🦉❤️

.and.montessori has a great graphic on why we prefer “taking turns” to “sharing” here at Owl Hollow! Every Nature Play session is specifically designed with a limited about of tools, toys, loose parts, etc to encourage taking turns or waiting to use a preferred object. There are SO many skills that are practiced best “in the moment” and this is one of them! One of my favorite things to experience is watching kids practice these hard skills during sessions. So so many rich experiences happen with play in nature!
