Amazing! So happy to see Rich Johnson '74 get lauded at Boston's "lyric little bandbox." We're always thrilled to see Rich here on the "elm tree-shaded hillside." Maybe we'll have to move the Tom Warner Walk/Run to Baker Field? Boston Red Sox TD Garden Fenway Park

Last week, our beloved curator, Richard Johnson, had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park before the Red Sox took on the Orioles in the second game of a doubleheader.

The special moment recognized Rich's incredible 44 years with The Sports Museum, where his passion, knowledge, and dedication have helped preserve and celebrate Boston's remarkable sports history.

From Mr. Kramer: “The FieldTurf folks took some drone photos of Murbach Field yesterday and I thought I’d pass them along... The field is ready [for the fall]. The infill will continue to settle as soon as we get some rain, and we’ll monitor if any low or high spots develop. The grass area towards the tennis courts will be repaired once things start to cool off. One shot includes a pretty good view of the Commons, as well. The last one is a ‘before’ photo.”
