Lawrence Academy Lawrence Academy is an independent high school in Groton, Massachusetts.

A coed boarding and day school situated on a 135-acre campus in the center of Groton, Massachusetts, Lawrence Academy provides approximately 400 students in grades 9 to 12 with a college-preparatory curriculum that ensures individual attention and fosters personal growth. On Monday, Lawrence Academy held its Spartan Golf Classic at Vesper Country Club. Open to all, the Classic gives alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends the opportunity to revel in a beautiful day of golf, while mingling and enjoying the extended LA community. Over the weekend, a small group of our Spartans attended the 2026 LatinX Conference held at Nobles and Greenough School. This year, the conference centered on exploring culture through the arts—giving students opportunities not only to experience different forms of artistic expression, but also to create, reflect, and tell their own stories through art, music, dance, and writing. A great opportunity for our students - we’re so proud of them for attending and representing Lawrence Academy.

Every year, Mr. Scheibe and Ms. Montesano work with LA students (usually a rising senior) to create a painting or illustration of Park House, as seen through the student’s eyes. The artwork is then used on the invitation to our fall parent dinners and as décor during those events.
