Little Acorn Preschool celebrated its grand finale on Friday, basking in the splendor of perfect weather, marking a truly unforgettable occasion. Our incredible community then united for a heartwarming surprise party. Thank you to everyone for the stunning flowers, thoughtful gifts, and delicious food. Let’s cherish the memories instead of tears, and beam with joy knowing it happened! I am overflowing with gratitude that my vision of launching my own preschool materialized 7 years ago, evolving into a dream come true. This journey has been immensely fulfilling, empowering, and life-altering. I am looking forward to the next chapter and will hold all of our families and children close to my heart. 💐🦋💝🕊️

A Message of Appreciation and New Beginnings, As we prepare to embark on the next chapter of our journey, Little Acorn Preschool will be closing its doors on Friday, June 19th, and we invite you to join us for our Yard Sale, happening one month from today. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the families who have entrusted us with the care and love of their children, allowing us to be a part of their little ones' lives. The decision to close was not taken lightly, and it is with a mix of sadness and hope for the future that we bid farewell. We encourage you to spread the word about our preschool sale and look forward to cherishing the time we have left to connect with our families and friends before we say goodbye. 🦋

We had an abundant supply of gifts from Mother Nature this week, including a stunning butterfly that paid us a visit, a presentation from our local beekeeper, and a substantial rainfall that allowed everyone to enjoy playing in the rain, making our week exceptionally fulfilling. Throughout the week, we were truly blessed with an abundance of uplifting experiences, ranging from the introduction of innovative monthly lessons to our community's heartfelt celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, where teachers were showered with thoughtful gifts of flowers, cards, fruit platters, chocolate, coffee, charcuterie, and baked goods, leaving us feeling deeply valued and incredibly grateful. Our week was devoted to preparing for May Day. Families brought flowers, and children decorated baskets for their neighbors. On Saturday, we organized our annual family May Day picnic, featuring a classic field day event with delicious food and plenty of fun. At Little Acorn, Earth Day 🌎 is a daily celebration. Our children are educated on the importance of environmental responsibility, recognizing their role as part of the earth. We commemorated the occasion by making an Earth Day birthday cake and singing to her. Furthermore, we prepared a cake for our animal friends, planted flowers in our play yard, created a card for the earth, washed our plates instead of throwing away paper and shared stories.
