School is in session today at the Groton Grange! We’re putting final touches on our community quadrillion day learning Boyleston’s Quadrille as danced in 1830s Roxbury.

Dance reconstruction is a team sport, and we’re excited to share some of our work with you this Saturday, October 3, at the Groton Grange!
Join members of F&F for a short lecture on The Boyleston Quadrilles, then learn to dance them before celebrating with a casual tea social. Tickets and more info on our website.

F&F is pleased to announce your chance to hear about F&F's latest dance scholarship. We've been busy studying the music and choreography from Mrs. Barnmore's "Boyleston Quadrilles" which debuted in 1836 in Roxbury, MA.

We will present a lecture and Q&A, where we share our process for studying social dances from the past. Next, participants will actually hone their quadrille skills in the ballroom with patient, beginner-friendly instruction in Boyleston's Quadrille. Finally, we will gather together to enjoy tea and refreshments and celebrate our first Quadrillion of the school year!

We’re combating this gloomy June weather with a return to our gloriously sunny May Blossoms Ball! We opened the evening with one of our favorite circle sets.
