South Dakota’s Free College Application Period is from October 1st - November 30th. Our seniors are applying to colleges today!

In support of our students, some staff members celebrate the day by representing some of their favorite colleges! We even had NSU’s Thunder come greet the students this morning and he was kind enough to take a picture with us!

Thank you to Jodi Schwan for setting up this fun morning of encouragement for our students as they apply to colleges!

Groton Area’s homecoming royalty visited the nursing home to have breakfast and crown Avantara’s new king and queen this morning. Congratulations to King Don Herman and Queen Mary Kay Zeman! Special thanks to senior advisors Brenda Madsen and Diane Kurtz for escorting our court on their adventures this week! 🖤💛🤍

King candidates are Keegen Tracy, Becker Bosma, Gage Sippel, Ryder Johnson and Gavin Englund. Queen candidates are Jerica Locke, Hannah Sandness, Rylee Dunker, Carly Gilbert and Talli Wright.
