Our amazing Orchestra Director is presenting her final project for her Masters of Music Education on Thursday July 30th at the Glenn E Watkins Lecture Hall in Ann Arbor.

“For my capstone project, I investigated how creating student leadership opportunities in my high school orchestra program could foster a stronger sense of community and engagement. By implementing leadership roles such as section leaders, officers, and committees, I examined how giving students greater responsibility encouraged ownership of the ensemble, increased participation, and contributed to a more positive classroom culture.“

2026 Awards Banquet is coming up. Tuesday, May 26 at Assumption, 6:30pm. The Boosters cover the meals for the band/orchestra students, so please ensure they've registered. If you or other family members are planning to attend please get your tickets on our website. Sales close May 18 in order to get numbers to Assumption. This is a catered event, booster member benefits do not apply.
