Hummingbirds Music Together Music Together Hummingbirds, founded in 2010, offers joyful music and movement for young children in Grosse Pointe.

We nurture cognitive, social, and emotional growth while bringing nearly 1,000 families together through music. Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. Hummingbirds Music Together offers all of it's classes from the Grosse Pointe Music Academy.

⭐️ The Playalong ⭐️ One of the most fun parts of our classes is the free playalong jam session! This happens right after the free dance, and it’s an opportunity for families to do some “musical output” before we relax into the Lullaby. The Playalong is valuable because it allows children and their caregivers to explore instruments freely and apply what they’ve learned and discovered in the earlier parts of class. No requirements, no judgment, just freely jamming along together! ⭐️
