This one thousand square foot learning space is home to some new rescued animal friends! to the soft fur of “Oliver" our slow moving South American native. We believe one of the great beauties of life is found in nature itself, so it is our goal to bring a little slice of nature to the city to marvel and learn from. When we care for animals we fall into a natural rhythm of caring for others in the same motion. Many new technologies and break through science is often inspired by observing nature. Weather you are looking to plan your class field trip, scout class, science camp, story night or private party event we are here to bring the tranquility of nature to our community!

Thank you for another successful Animal Science Camp! Thank you to all the families that joined us last week! We can’t get enough of the smiles and giggles from our young scientists and biologists in the making! It’s the highlight of the year seeing delightful animals, science experiments and enthusiastic kids come together for a wild week to remember! Special thank you to our amazing staff, thoughtful city officials and of course the truly wonderful supportive families!!! This year was a little different, operating mobile at the city hall garden room, and some incredible memories were made! 💗

🐍 Join us for our exclusive four day ANIMAL SCIENCE CAMP that will inspire and mystify campers as we learn about the amazing animals of our beautiful world! We will get up close with a Mega Monitors, Giant Snakes, Weird Mammals and Creepy Crawlies just to name a few! Each day for 2hrs we will get up close and hands on with animals from different continents, play games, do experiments, have a snack and pizza party on the final day! 🍕🥳🎉

🗓️WHEN: AUGUST 18th-21st/TIME: 10am-12 each day

🎉First GP Zoology hosted event under a new roof! Join us Saturday Jan. 24th @ 9am for our “Tiny Explorers Jungle Tour”! This event will get littles up close and hands on with some incredible rescue jungle creatures! Come meet the giants of the reptile world including the second largest lizard in the world “Max” the Asian water monitor! Get cozy with the worlds fluffiest mammal “Charlie” the ebony chinchilla and over 12 of his favorite friends! 🦥 🐍 🦎

Who doesn’t love taking your plants 🪴 to Starbucks? Move to in process, we had to take advantage of yesterday’s temps plus the monster monsteras didn’t fit in the truck! It was only a 10min walk down Mack!

Might have to swing by to pickup some more friends soon!

💗 Attention to our wonderful GPZ community:
My wife Jessica and I have made the difficult however essential decision to take GP Zoology mobile and leave our current location. It has been an incredible 4 years and we just want to thank all of our wonderful families that have supported us along the way! The countless memories left behind in our building will never be forgotten! As most of you know, we are a company conceived through our sister company . We will be moving back in with our big sis to weather the volatile market and economic conditions until further notice. You will get to experience our rescue animals under one roof and we are currently cementing new plans to integrate all the great things we have learned here at GPZ, just in a new environment. Don’t hesitate to reach out, our mobile educational programs for schools, community events and birthday parties will continue as normal!

We are very thankful to our community for the opportunity given to us to grow our start-up business! Just like a bow and arrow 🏹 sometimes in life we have to pull back in order to fly forward into the future with sharpness and precision! Even though this news is sad for us to share, we are excited to start this new journey as we work on integrating and building new enclosures at Lou’s!

Please join us this coming weekend for our farewell to our GP Zoology building! We will have extended hours for Feeding Fridays as well as multiple Saturday events! We look forward to seeing you!

Special thank you to all of our amazing staff for sharing their talents to make all of these memories! We are looking forward to continue making many more!
