Congratulations to GPA student Britton Barnhill, who received the Wayne County Commission’s inaugural Leader of Tomorrow Youth Award in recognition of his compassion and leadership. After learning that a local dog rescue needed help feeding animals following an influx of strays, Britton created a flyer and organized his school, neighbors, family, and friends to collect donations. His efforts raised more than $1,000 and gathered 530 pounds of dog food. We’re so proud to celebrate Britton’s commitment to academics, service, and leadership!
