NO SCHOOL MONDAY!

Just a reminder that Groom ISD will have NO SCHOOL on Monday, August 24, for students or staff!

Enjoy the long weekend, GISD! We’ll see everyone back on Tuesday!

Basketball T-shirt order forms are going home with students to purchase basketball shirts for the upcoming season! This year we want all fans and athletes to be "ONE" and have the same shirt at games! These same shirts will be worn by both the Tiger and Tigerette Basketball teams for warm-ups!
If you would like to purchase one, send your shirt order form and money with your student to school by August 28th. If you don't have a student order form, there will be order forms at the grocery store--pick it up there, fill it out, and return to school office!

All proceeds from shirt sales go back into the athletics program!

Also, if you'd like to be a sponsor and have your business name on the back of the team shirt, reach out to any Tigerette JH/HS athlete for more information!

PRE-K–5TH ATTENDANCE WAR!

This year, our elementary students are having an ATTENDANCE WAR, and we need our families’ help!

We are encouraging our students to BE HERE every day they are able! Regular attendance makes a HUGE difference in student learning—and it also makes a difference for our little school!

We want to share with parents what we shared with our students:

🤒 If you are running a fever or throwing up—STAY HOME and get better!

But if you’re just tired, have a stuffy nose, a little headache, or a cough and otherwise feel well enough for school, we encourage you to come join us for the day! If you start feeling worse while you’re here, we’ll take care of you and contact your family.

NOW FOR THE FUN PART…PRIZES!

CLASS ATTENDANCE PRIZES will go to the classes with the highest attendance percentages!
Ice cream parties
Hot chocolate parties
And MORE!

INDIVIDUAL PERFECT ATTENDANCE PRIZES will include some BIG rewards throughout the year!
