Our 5th graders attended the Carson County Playa Festival in Panhandle on Tuesday!

It was a morning full of hands-on learning about our aquifer and the important role playas play in our area. Students learned about native plants and animals, playas, and how our aquifer gets recharged.

What a great educational experience for our students!
