Some students will soon walk through our doors ready for a year of firsts. Others will begin a year filled with lasts.

From our tiniest preschoolers to our big seniors on campus, we’re wishing every student a happy, successful and memorable start to the school year.

Here’s to all the firsts, all the lasts, and all the moments in between.

As a new school year begins, it's easy to focus on schedules, supply lists, and everything ahead.

But before we dive into another year, we're taking a moment to remember what school is really about.

For one Griswold student, simply walking through the school doors again was something he had fought hard for. His story is a reminder not to take the everyday moments for granted.

A hug before the morning rush.
Walking your child into school.
Time with friends at recess.
A smile in the hallway.
Raising your hand in class.

The little moments often become the big ones.

As we begin another school year, may we slow down just enough to notice them.

Are we still reminiscing? Kinda. 💙

But mostly, we’re reminded just how quickly these days go by.

Senior Signing Day in May celebrated our graduates and the many different paths ahead of them — college, careers, the military, athletics and more.

And now, a new school year is here.

Whether this year brings your first day on campus or your last, let’s make the days in between count.

Together, let’s commit to a year of excellence.
