I am so looking forward to this coming June 1-4th. I had no idea that Grinnell wouldn't just provide an incredible education, friends, and experiences, it would also give me family. Margaret Toomey is the literal best and we have some amazing memories from our Grinnell Days. I can't wait to see you and hopefully my nieces in June!

But my best memory is definitely how we met in Loose Pit of the Pit in August 2002 (20 years ago!). Me trying to put together a bookcase with my high heel, and you reminding me that some people like to sleep at 11pm and to shut it down. We didn't know then, but it was the start of something wonderful.

The deadline to register for the 2023 Externship Program is quickly approaching on October 25. The College is looking for alumni to host students in person or virtually for a job shadow experience. It is a wonderful way to provide deep and meaningful opportunities for current students to explore possible routes after Grinnell. Y'all Rachel Miller recently opened a bar supply store with her twin sister in the middle of a pandemic! This store looks so cool and I really hope there will be a shipping option in the future. If you're in Chicago, I definitely recommend dropping by this cool spot in Portage Park.
