UCC Community Preschool The Preschool serves children ages 3-5. Providing a rich learning environment that encourages new skill development and builds school readiness skills.

UCC Community Preschool serves children 3-5. It is an opportunity for all children to take part in planned, active learning experiences to build their readiness skills. The program was awarded the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program Grant in 2011. The program’s goal is to provide a high quality preschool program meeting each child’s needs, including children with disabilities and those from a di

verse background. The preschool provides a rich learning environment that encourages children’s natural curiosity and supports them to take risks that lead to new skill development. It is a setting where children feel safe, respected, and cared for. The preschool program has adopted and meets the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards, administered by the Iowa Department of Education. The Iowa Early Learning Standards are used to guide expectations for the children and instructional practices. The program has received 5 out of 5 stars on the QRS rating scale.

Thank you everyone who attended and donated to our fundraiser at Prairie Fire tonight! We still have to get an official number, but after a quick count it looks like we brought in just under $500 in two hours! I will update with our final number once I get word. 🤍🤸✏️
