Hello, GRW Families!

We had a wonderful first week of school! Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping us start the year strong. Here are a few important reminders and upcoming events:

CAR RIDER REMINDERS
• Please help your student learn their car rider number and remind them to listen carefully as numbers are called in the afternoon.
• Please continue to pull forward when directed—your student will come to you.
• If your child needs help buckling, please pull into the center area or safely to the side of the main road so we can keep the car line moving.

BEGINNING-OF-YEAR TESTING
• Students in grades K–5 will be assessed using mCLASS Reading.
• 3rd Grade Beginning-of-Grade (BOG) Test: September 9
• Please make sure students are at school and on time on testing days.
• Results and resources will be sent home after the testing window closes.

💻 SCHOOL FEES — $25
• $10 Instructional Fee
• $15 Technology Fee/Device Protection Plan

WELCOME BACK! LET’S GET READY FOR A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!
As we prepare for the first days of school, here are a few important reminders to help everything run smoothly:

🚗 CAR RIDER LINE
• Please pull ALL the way forward before stopping.
• Students should exit on the PASSENGER SIDE only for safety.
• During afternoon pickup, please have your car rider number clearly visible on your dashboard or hanging where staff can easily see it.
• And remember… PATIENCE IS KEY! The first few days always take a little longer as everyone learns the routine. It WILL get faster!

⏰ EARLY BIRD DROP-OFF
Early Bird Drop-Off is available beginning at 7:00 AM for just $1.00 per day. Drop off at the main entrance

🚘💨 “SKIP THE CAR LINE” FUNDRAISER begins Monday!

👋 WALKING STUDENTS IN
Parents/guardians are welcome to walk their child into school during the first week. We ask that all visitors exit the building by 7:40 AM so we can begin our school day.

🍎 BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Breakfast and lunch are FREE for students! Students eating breakfast should go to breakfast FIRST before reporting to homeroom.

👕 DRESS CODE & CELL PHONES
Families, we need your partnership in supporting PCS policies regarding dress code and cell phones. Please review these expectations with your child so we can start the year focused on learning and success!

🏈🏐ATHLETIC EVENTS
Tickets for games can be purchased through GoFan. Please remember that cash will NOT be accepted at the door
