🇺🇸 Flag Retirement Ceremony — Perry Pioneer Days 🇺🇸

Troop 17 will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony during Perry Pioneer Days, giving worn, damaged, or tattered American flags the respectful retirement they deserve.

If you have an American flag that is no longer suitable for display, please consider donating it to Troop 17. We will make sure it is handled with the honor and respect it deserves.

🇺🇸 Give it to any Troop 17 Scout
📩 Contact Troop 17 at 217-430-0666 or 217-491-5770 to make arrangements for us to pick it up

Please help us spread the word! If you have a flag that needs to be retired, let Troop 17 give it the proper farewell.

Last night’s Foam Party was the most fun! What a great way to wrap up a Read, White, & Blue Summer!

Thank you to everyone for joining us! Big thanks to PACE: Perry Association for Community Enrichment for helping sponsor the foam that M&K Parties had piled higher than the dads who were willing to get out there with the kids! And to the City of Griggsville for helping make sure everyone had a scoop of ice cream from Frosty Treats & Eats!

No Story Hour tomorrow, 7/21/26. With the sidewalk replacement & our HVAC motor deciding to take a summer vacay, it seems like the best choice. We’ll be in Perry in the park at 9:00a Wednesday for our last session of the summer - join us there!
