We’re so thankful for Dolly’s generosity and how so many Pike County kiddos are able to benefit. Sign your little one up today!

Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger. Today, 9-25, we’re celebrating that spirit through Give Like Dolly Day.

Right now, here in Pike County, 397 children from birth to age 5 receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

If you wish to give in support of your local Imagination Library or sign up your child, use the following link:

A heartfelt thank you to those who have already given. ❤️

🇺🇸 Flag Retirement Ceremony — Perry Pioneer Days 🇺🇸

Troop 17 will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony during Perry Pioneer Days, giving worn, damaged, or tattered American flags the respectful retirement they deserve.

If you have an American flag that is no longer suitable for display, please consider donating it to Troop 17. We will make sure it is handled with the honor and respect it deserves.

🇺🇸 Flag Drop-Off Options:
📍 North Pike District Library
🇺🇸 Give it to any Troop 17 Scout
📩 Contact Troop 17 at 217-430-0666 or 217-491-5770 to make arrangements for us to pick it up

Please help us spread the word! If you have a flag that needs to be retired, let Troop 17 give it the proper farewell.

Thank you for helping us honor our flag, our country, and all that the Stars and Stripes represent. 🇺🇸

Last night’s Foam Party was the most fun! What a great way to wrap up a Read, White, & Blue Summer!

Thank you to everyone for joining us! Big thanks to PACE: Perry Association for Community Enrichment for helping sponsor the foam that M&K Parties had piled higher than the dads who were willing to get out there with the kids! And to the City of Griggsville for helping make sure everyone had a scoop of ice cream from Frosty Treats & Eats!
