📢 PATRIOTS, OUR NIGHT OF WORSHIP IS NOW THURSDAY! ✨📢

We’re excited to announce that our Night of Worship will be happening Thursday, August 27th at 6:30 PM! 🙌

Join us for a night of worship, music, and fellowship! This night is open to students across the region, including students, college students, CCS alumni, and CCS families!

We hope to see a lot of you there! Invite your friends, family, classmates, and anyone else who would love to come worship with us! Everyone is welcome, so bring someone with you and come ready for a great night together!

Interested in leading worship? We’re still looking for worship teams/artists from other schools and churches who would like to lead us with a couple songs that night! If you’re still interested in being an artist, please DM us by Wednesday at 3 PM!

Come hang out, worship with us, and take a break from the first week of school to come together and focus our hearts on Christ! We can’t wait to see you there!🤍

Good morning CCS Families: Our prayers continue to be with our families who are navigating life after the storms we have experienced. Many are still without power; some who have had power have now lost it, and there are families who are not scheduled to have electricity until next week. With our student body stretching across multiple counties, towns, and cities, we want to continue to ensure everyone has time to recover and prepare for the start of the school year, while we continue to make the necessary repairs to the building from the storm to safely welcome our students. We are extending the start of the school year prayerfully for the last time to Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Please understand this was not an easy decision, and we are sure there are as many families who are thankful for this extended time as there are families who would like for us to start much earlier. Our teachers, staff, and students all have their own individual and collective needs, and we have attempted to navigate this unprecedented time in the best interest of our entire school community.

Patriot Family: Our prayers are with you all as you navigate through the weekend cleaning, helping others, and some still without power. With our student body stretching across multiple counties, towns, and cities, we want to ensure everyone has time to recover and prepare for the start of the school year, while we continue to make the necessary repairs to the building from the storm to safely welcome our students. Our first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year will be Thursday, August 20, 2026. Thank you for your prayers, support, and patience for our building repairs, students, and families.

From the North Township Trustee:

🚨 EMERGENCY FOOD VOUCHERS AVAILABLE FOR NORTH TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

In response to the recent widespread power outages, North Township Trustee's Office are providing Emergency Food Voucher assistance to eligible residents who have been without power for 72 hours or more.

Residents must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License or ID with a current address. Power outages will be verified with NIPSCO, and an Emergency Application must be completed.

📍 East Chicago Office: 2100 Broadway St.
📍 Hammond Office: 5947 Hohman Ave.

Eligible communities include East Chicago, Griffith, Hammond, Highland, Munster, and Whiting.

⚠️ Please note that our offices are currently without internet and phone service. Applications will be completed manually.

Due to the significant damage and widespread power outages in our community, we will be postponing the start of school to Monday, August 17.

While we hoped to resume school on Thursday, we want to keep the safety of our families and their needs in mind, as many have been personally affected by these storms and are struggling to recover.

We look forward to seeing our CCS Family on Monday for the start of the 2026-2027 school year!
