🐾 GRIFFITH PUBLIC SCHOOLS — STORM RECOVERY UPDATE 🐾
Panther Families, Staff, and Community,
We are grateful to share more positive progress as our schools and community continue recovering from the recent storms.

✅ Power has been restored
🔧 Our team will be in the building tomorrow troubleshooting and addressing any remaining issues.
With all buildings now powered, we anticipate starting school on Monday as planned! We are incredibly excited to welcome our Panthers back.

Tomorrow, we are thrilled to host our FIRST HOME FOOTBALL GAME on our BRAND-NEW PANTHER TURF!

We are excited to welcome our neighbors from Highland for a great night of football and community.
A friendly reminder: All students in Kindergarten through 8th grade must be accompanied by an adult to enter and must remain with an adult throughout the game.
Let’s fill the Boneyard with Panther Pride and demonstrate great sportsmanship and hospitality as we welcome the Trojans to Griffith!

💧 COMMUNITY SUPPORT CONTINUES TOMORROW
Our cooling, water, and device-charging station will once again be available at:

We hope this continues to provide some relief for families still recovering from the storm.
📋 FAMILY NEEDS SURVEY
A family survey will be sent out to help us better identify the individual needs of our students and families.
Please take a few minutes to complete it over the weekend or at your earliest convenience. Your responses will help us determine where resources and support are needed most.
🗑️ COMMUNITY DUMPSTER AVAILABLE
Beginning Saturday at 6:00 AM, a dumpster will be available in the Middle/High School athletic parking lot for community members in need as they continue storm cleanup and recovery.
We hope this resource provides one more way to support our neighbors during this difficult time.
Every day we are getting closer to normal, and we could not be more thankful for the patience, resilience, generosity, and teamwork demonstrated throughout Griffith.
