💞Origins of Breast Cancer Awareness Month💞

💞Began in 1985: The American Cancer Society partnered with a pharmaceutical company to launch the first awareness campaign in October.

💞Goal for Mammograms: The original focus was to promote mammography as the primary tool to find breast cancer early.

💞Global Growth: What started as a week-long national event grew into an international health campaign.

💞The Pink Ribbon: Introduced in the early 1990s as the universal symbol for breast cancer awareness and solidarity with survivors.
Public Visibility: Landmarks, products, and sports leagues turn pink each October to spark conversations about breast health.

💞High Prevalence: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers diagnosed in women worldwide.

💞Saves Lives: Regular screenings and early detection significantly lower death rates and improve treatment success.

Happy Friday!!! Here’s a few of the staff wearing their inspirational shirts during a Friday in September honoring Bosslady Lisa Renee Johnson.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked... but his delight is in the law of the Lord... In all that he does, he prospers."
Psalm 1:1–3

We ask that October be a season of divine breakthroughs, open doors, and supernatural favor. Where there has been resistance or waiting, we pray for Your divine speed and alignment. Open the gates of opportunity, wisdom, and understanding. Bless the work of our hands and let our lives yield a fruitful harvest.
