👀 We spotted another one of our favorite people…and we may be biased but she’s wearing our favorite hoodie! 😎❤️

We are extremely proud of Dr. Jhondee Barnes, Program Challenge Director and Site Coordinator of the Enrichment Center for the Griffin-Spalding County School District. After more than 25 years of service to GSCS, Dr. Barnes continues to make a meaningful impact on students, families, educators, and programs throughout the district.

Her commitment to providing enhanced education for students, encouraging academic excellence, and helping young people reach their full potential is something we truly admire. She consistently serves in tremendous capacities throughout Griffin-Spalding County Schools and the community.

And we can’t leave out the bright young man pictured with her! 😊 We have the pleasure of Zyan attending our center and we are extremely proud of him and his academic achievements. He is an exceptionally smart young man with a bright future ahead of him, and we love seeing students connecting with amazing leaders like Dr. Barnes.

Dr. Barnes, thank you for over 25 years of service, leadership, and dedication to the children of our community!

What have we been up to this week? 👀

Our three- and four-year-old classrooms have been busy learning as always! This week, we’ve been placing an extra focus on the letter Kk, numbers 25 & 26, the cone shape, sky blue, and our weekly sight words. ✏️🔢📚

Along with these weekly focus skills, our scholars continue their daily study and review of all letters, numbers, shapes, and colors to strengthen recognition, confidence, and early learning skills through repetition and hands-on activities.

A little focus, a lot of practice, and plenty of learning happening every day! And judging by those smiles, our little scholars are ROCKING it! 🤩👏🏽⭐

🛍️ Fridays are for The PC Store! 💵🎉

It’s Friday and you know what that means! Our Summer Camp students love ending the week by lining up to cash in the PC Bucks they’ve earned through positive behavior, leadership, helping others, making good choices, and setting a great example for others! Watching them line up to budget, shop, and celebrate the rewards of their hard work is one of our favorite parts of the week.

We believe good choices deserve great rewards, so they use their earned bucks to shop for fun treats…and yes - those are kool-aid pickles on the store shelf! 😋😁 We are proud of our students for the positive choices they are making each day and look forward to seeing them continue to earn, save, and spend their Preferred Choice Bucks! 💚
