This 9-Weeks’ Flag Team members are starting their role off strong! They have been working on learning the proper ways for folding and are learning the importance of respect for each flag. Way to show those leadership skills, Jackson Road Elementary School Wildcats!

The Book Fair is officially set up and ready to go! Now to send out a few emails and try to enjoy the rest of what’s left of this long weekend!

Parents: Students will shop during their media center time this week. Don’t forget that you can create an E-Wallet for your child(ren) so that they don’t have to carry around cash.

If you’re interested in donating to help fund a “scholarship” for students who might not otherwise get to shop at the book fair, here’s the link. It’s an E-Wallet that I created just for this. All funds will go directly to students who need a little help with purchasing a book from the fair. ❤️💙

We are getting ready to wrap up Accelerated Reader for the year. These kiddos have been working hard to get their points by reading books 📚 and taking the AR quiz.

Note…📝 Friday is the last day for quizzes to be taken. Awards for top point earned in each classroom and grade level will be announced during grade level awards ceremonies next week.

Read over the summer and don’t lose the learning momentum! We are saying “no” 🚫 to the Summer Slide! 😎
