Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center is an accredited private school with programs designed to maximize the potential of students with physical, developmental and intellectual disabiliites. Stepping Stones maintains a faculty of exceptional talent – many with master’s degrees – who provide age- and ability-focused instruction using core curriculum, technology and hands-on, real-world applica

tion of skills. Onsite therapy provides minimal interruption to the student, while maximizing their abilities to function both in and outside the classroom. We stress the importance of early intervention and inclusion of typical students into our pre-school programs for maximum success.

Inspired by a news article about the Chicago Air and Water Show, students learned about the MH-60 Dolphin rescue helicopter and its water rescue demonstrations. Then, they put their own spin on the lesson by creating rotating paper helicopters and watching them take flight! 🚁 💚 💙 😊

After a virtual pitstop in Huntsville, Alabama, and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Upper School students built and launched their own bottle rocket using a chemical reaction between vinegar and baking soda. Clearly, students understood the assignment! 🚀🚀

What a fantastic start to the school year!

Our first two days have been filled with smiles, learning, laughter, and lots of happy reunions. It has been wonderful to welcome both new and returning students back to campus and watch our classrooms come to life.

And thank you to everyone who helped us get our 36th school year off to such a wonderful start. We are especially grateful to Bokar Temple #166, the Exchange Club of Griffin, Yancey and Kayla Mahaffey, Griffin First United Methodist Church, Heather McLendon and McLeRoy Realty, Bonnie and Steve Brown, and Harry and Sandra Burkhalter for your generosity, encouragement, and support. Your investment in our students, staff, and school means more than you know.

Thank you to our incredible families, faculty, staff, and community for making Stepping Stones such a special place. We are looking forward to another amazing school year!

We're excited to welcome our Stepping Stones families to Open House today from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Stop by to meet your teachers, drop off supplies, explore the classrooms, and get ready for an incredible school year. We can't wait to see familiar faces, welcome new families, and officially kick off our 36th year of school!

A sincere thank you to the Griffin Exchange Club for spending two days at Stepping Stones tackling projects all across our campus!

From landscaping and painting to repairs, welding, and everything in between, their volunteers jumped in wherever help was needed. Their time, talents, and willingness to serve made a tremendous impact, and our campus is better because of it.

A special thank you to Raak Patel for organizing the effort and helping make it all happen. We truly appreciate the Exchange Club's continued support of our school and our students.
