We are excited to start our chorus again this year. We will have a parent meeting on September 1st at 4 PM in the music room. This will be a brief meeting discussing the school year and expectations. This group is for any 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader that genuinely enjoys singing.
Mrs. A. Smith will be working with Mr. Martin again this year and they are excited to get started. If you have questions feel free to send Mr. Martin an email at [email protected]. We are looking forward to creating music this year!

Cowan Road Elementary School Picture Day is Thursday, September 3 at 8:30 AM!
This year, there’s no need to send money on Picture Day. Students will have their pictures taken first, and families will be able to view the images before deciding what to purchase.

Cowan Road Elementary – Attendance Shoutout

Shoutout to our amazing Cowan Road Elementary families!
Our students showed up and showed out! Week one we reached an incredible 98% average daily attendance, and week two we held strong at 95%.

In elementary school, consistent attendance makes a HUGE difference. Our youngest learners are building the foundation for lifelong success, and every day in school counts toward their growth—in reading, math, friendships, and confidence. Families, YOU are such a huge part of this success. Your support, routines, and encouragement help our Colts start each day ready to learn.
Let’s keep the momentum going and aim high for week 3— back to 98% (or higher)!!
