Attention GHS Senior Scholars and Parents/Guardians! Herff Jones will be on campus during all lunches on the following dates for Class of 2027 cap and gown orders:

📅 Wednesday, September 2nd
📅 Friday, October 2nd
📅 Tuesday, November 3rd
📅 Wednesday, December 2nd
📅 Wednesday, January 27th

✅ Plan ahead and place your order on one of the dates listed above to avoid late fees.

🚨 Important: The last day to order caps and gowns before distribution is March 31st.

Griffin High School scholars, it’s time to get back on track and finish strong!

1st Semester Credit Recovery begins Monday, August 17, 2026, at 3:45 p.m. in the GHS Media Center.

📅 Session Schedule:
✅ Monday–Thursday | 3:45 p.m.–5:45 p.m.
✅ Saturday | 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
📍 GHS Media Center

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: ALL CREDIT RECOVERY SESSIONS ARE MANDATORY. Scholars who register are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.

Credit Recovery provides scholars with an opportunity to recover needed course credits and continue making progress toward graduation.

📚✨ Exciting Reading in Mr. West’s Class! ✨📚

Our Griffin High School scholars in Mr. West’s class are getting an exciting opportunity to dive into an “astonishing” The New York Times novel that follows a boy during an elevator ride as he wrestles with some very challenging choices and decisions.

This powerful reading experience will give our scholars an opportunity to think critically, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore themes surrounding choices, consequences, emotions, and life experiences. 💭📖

Even more special, these books were made possible through a generous gift from ! 💚💛

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who donated and helped place these books directly into the hands of our scholars. Your generosity is helping create engaging learning experiences and making an IMPACT in our classrooms!
