Yesterday, Griffin High School proudly celebrated our 10th Grade September Leadership Certificate recipients! 🎉🏆

These students demonstrated their commitment to success by achieving 95%+ attendance, no behavior referrals, and passing all classes during the month of September.

They are also demonstrating what it means to live out our BEARS Expectations:

Dear Parent/Guardian(s):

Beginning October 19-30, 2026,GHS student(s) will participate in our Griffin-Spalding District Benchmark assessments. These benchmark assessments give students feedback on their learning and help parents track their academic progress. Additionally, they provide teachers with the data needed to plan for instruction and meet the needs of our students.

The Benchmark assessments will be administered as follows:

📖 Literature & Composition II: October 21–22, 2026
➗ Algebra: October 27, 2026
🇺🇸 U.S. History: October 28, 2026
🧬 Biology: October 29, 2026

Today, Griffin High School proudly celebrated the amazing custodians who work tirelessly to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our scholars and staff each day.

Custodial work is physically demanding and often requires early mornings, late evenings, varying shifts, outdoor work, and countless tasks that may go unnoticed. No matter where they are working or what needs to be done, our custodial team continues to show dedication, pride, and commitment to GHS. 🐻✨
