Moore Elementary School This is the official page for Moore Elementary School Moore Elementary School began as an elementary school housing students from 1st -6th grade.

It was named after the pastor of 8th Street Baptist Church, Rev.John Henry Moore. It currently serves students from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade and continues to be a leader in the community. The school prides itself on providing a quality standards-based education for all students. Belief Statements:

We believe responsible citizenship is learned and requires positive adult role models. We believe all students can and want to learn despite their circumstances. We believe all instruction should be data driven and reflect best practices.

💗🎀 ON FRIDAYS, WE WEAR PINK! 🎀💗

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stood UNITED and wore pink to show our love, support, and solidarity for all those affected by breast cancer. 💕💪🏽

Yesterday, we wore pink for the fighters, the survivors, the thrivers, and those we hold close to our hearts. Together, we stand in awareness, hope, and the fight for a cure! 💗🎗️

At Moore Elementary, we believe that when we stand together, we can make a difference! 💗🐻

🐻💙💛 PRE-K WEEK WAS FULL OF FUN, LEARNING, AND AMAZING MEMORIES! 💛💙🐻

A HUGE shout-out to Ms. Walker & Ms. High and Ms. Bey-Toliver & Mrs. Owens for making Pre-K Week so much fun for our scholars! 🎉 From the exciting daily themes to the smiles and laughter, thank you for creating such special memories for our littlest Cubs! 🥰👏🏽

Our Pajama Day got even better with his AMAZING read-aloud of Llama Llama Red Pajama! 🦙📖😴 He brought the ENERGY, THE VIBES, AND ALL THE FUN to our scholars this morning! The excitement was contagious, and our little Cubs had a blast! 🎉🙌🏽

This Friday, October 9th, Moore Elementary is going ALL IN for HOPE! 💙💛
🎗️ Hats 4 HOPE: Donate $1 and wear your favorite hat to school to support local childhood cancer families. Every hat represents hope and reminds children battling cancer that they are not alone.
🎀 District-Wide Pink Out: Wear PINK to show your support for breast cancer awareness and honor those fighting, surviving, and remembering loved ones.
