Studio D School of Dance Studio D has taken pride in making its home in the Shuerman Opera House in Downtown Griffin for 23 years. Built in 1870, it housed Shuerman’s Theatre upstairs.

Nurturing the Future of Dance in Historic Griffin
Providing exceptional dance and musical theatre education in the beautiful Shuerman Opera House for over 30 years. The theatre was used to present plays until 1894. The historic building has been renovated to provide one of the largest and finest facilities for dance in the state. The ground floor includes two large dance rooms and the second floor ballet room has an 18' ceiling with a 35' by 55' floor space.
