Hey everyone! My name is Eve Sherer, and I am thrilled to serve as the 2026–2027 President for the Gridley FFA Officer Team! I am a senior at Gridley High School, where I participate in softball, flag football, Interact Club, CSF, Student Athlete Leadership, and Link Crew. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, giving back to the community, and learning through new experiences. Through my time in FFA, I have competed in Floral, Agricultural Issues, Job Interview, and Opening and Closing Ceremonies, while also being involved with livestock projects showing rabbits and hogs. These experiences have helped me gain valuable agricultural knowledge and develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. FFA has provided me with lifelong memories, friendships, and opportunities to grow as a leader. As your President, I am excited to support our members, help everyone feel included, and share the successes and stories of Gridley FFA. I can’t wait for an amazing year ahead!

Hi guys, my name is Sarah Hamman and I will be the 2026-2027 Vice President for Gridley FFA’s officer team!During school I participated on the AG Issues Team, Floral team, Prepared Public speaking and several other activities. Outside of school you can find me in my barn raising my show pig to compete in local fairs! Over the past three years my involvement in the FFA program has taught me various skills such as leadership, communication, advocacy, and networking. Gridley High School’s FFA program has also helped me grow as a person, make new connections, and taught about what agriculture has to offer. I will use my learning experiences to become a better leader for our FFA program. My goal this year is to help make members feel welcome regardless of their background. I can not wait to see what the next school year will bring us! I am thrilled to be serving as your Vice President as well as showing my fellow students what Gridley FFA has to offer.

Hi everyone! I’m Hailey Thompson, and I’m honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Gridley FFA Secretary. FFA has been such an important part of my life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back to the chapter that has helped shape me into the person I am today. Through impromptu speaking and other FFA activities, I’ve grown as a leader, gained confidence, strengthened my communication skills, and built meaningful connections. Outside of FFA, I participate in volleyball, basketball, softball, Student Athlete Leadership (SAL), and show my hogs at the Butte County Fair. These experiences have taught me the importance of hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. I love meeting new people and building friendships wherever I go. As your Secretary, my goal is to create an inclusive environment where every member feels welcomed and encouraged to get involved within our chapter and community. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve and can’t wait for an amazing year ahead!

Hey everyone! My name is Leonardo Donati and I’m blessed to be serving as your chapter Treasurer for the 2026-2027 year. I am going to be a sophomore, and will be in my second year in Gridley FFA. As an FFA member, I’ve been able to attend the California State Leadership Conference in Ontario, representing Gridley FFA at the state level. Beyond this, I’ve competed in multiple LDE and CDE competitions, including Creed, Best Informed Greenhand, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and Agricultural Mechanics. I’ve also been extremely involved in the livestock side of FFA, raising and showing two steers every year since I was nine years old! Outside of FFA, I’m an athlete on the swim team and assisted with the boys volleyball team. I’m also a member of CSF and help organize various community service projects within our local area. My current SAE projects include growing thirteen varieties of pumpkins, sunflowers, and decorative corn, designing and fabricating projects in my shop class, and working on my family’s farm, Donati Ranch. I’ve made several projects, including a 49ers firepit that will be showcased at the Butte County Fair’s Fabrication Institute. I can’t wait to help my fellow officers successfully lead Gridley FFA in the upcoming year!

Hi friends! My name is Elexa Sherer and I am very excited to serve as your 2026-2027 Gridley FFA Chapter Reporter! I am a junior at Gridley High School and have been involved in FFA through livestock showing, animal science, agriscience, and the floral pathway. I have also been on Gridley’s swim and softball teams. I have competed in Vegetable crop judging, and BIG and want to continue growing my competition experiences. Outside of FFA, I love spending time with my family and friends and making memories at fairs as well as conferences with other chapters. As your Chapter Reporter, I look forward to sharing all of the amazing opportunities our chapter accomplishes, highlighting our members, and keeping everyone connected and informed. Hey, my name is Levi Abruzzini and I am the 2026-2027 Public Relations officer for Gridley FFA! During the school year I participated in Livestock Judging, Creed, and BIG. Outside of school you can find me in my barn raising my show pig and breeding ewe to compete in local fairs or jackpots! Over the past year my involvement in the FFA program has taught me various skills such as leadership, communication, advocacy, and networking. Gridley High School’s FFA program has also helped me grow as a person, make new connections and taught me what the agriculture industry has to offer. I will use my experiences to become a better leader for our chapter members. My goal this year is to help make members feel welcome regardless of their background and experiences in the industry.
