🌙 Dreams are creative products of the mind, offering us a unique space to explore new connections, insights, desires, and fears. They represent a profound and unfiltered form of self-expression. In preparing for this exhibit, we discussed some of the most common dreams people experience, such as falling, losing teeth, and being chased, and how some psychologists deconstruct dreams to better understand our inner worlds. Throughout history, artists, writers, musicians, and scientists have drawn from their unconscious minds to craft groundbreaking and beautiful concepts. Dreams have inspired innovations like the periodic table of elements, the sewing machine, the story of Frankenstein, and even Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. Through song, poetry, paintings, stories, and scientific discoveries, dreams have illuminated our understanding of the world, unlocking new realms of creativity and knowledge.
