This afternoon the Primary class had their first science experiment! Mrs. Alli presented the “Skittles experiment” which is a science activity where you arrange Skittles in a circle on a plate, add warm water, and watch the candy's colored sugar coating dissolve to create a striking, unmixed rainbow pattern. After seeing what happened, each child colored their own “plate” showing what they saw the Skittles do!

Students are back in the classroom and we couldn’t be happier! The Pre-Primary and Primary classes had a wonderful week back! Our new students spent some time learning the rules and routine of the classroom along with lessons on materials. Our returning students fell right back into routine like they never left!! This week starts our regular class schedule. We’ll see all your smiling faces tomorrow morning!

Also this morning, the 4th year students, along with some 3rd year students, of the Junior Class celebrated a time of transition. It is a celebration on intra-transition when a student transfers or graduates from one plane of development to another. We are so proud of each of these students.

Leading up to the Candle Ceremony the Jr. Class graduates enjoyed "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Suess read by Mrs. Lori. We then had a short greeting read by the 4th year students. Mrs. Veronica guided the Candle Ceremony with presentation of commemorative awards which concluded the Jr. Class Transition Program.
We wish each student Godspeed on their new journeys. We will miss you.

This morning the K students of the Primary Class celebrated a time of transition. It is a celebration on intra-transition when a student transfers or graduates from one plane of development to another. The K students are transitioning on to the Junior Class or to Grade 1 in another school. The candle is lit by the Directress representing the beginning of one plane of development, and the child then snuffs the flame representing the end and a farewell to that plane of development and readiness to move on to the next.

The kindergarten Primary students snuffing their candle, receiving their Primary Certificates and Lamp of Knowledge Medals (they were delivered right after we concluded, look out for en email!) to commemorate their transition to the Jr. Class or to Grade 1 in other schools. We are all so proud and will miss each of you!

Jr. Elementary also thinks Pajama Day is the best day of the year!! Mrs. Veronica, Mrs. Lori and Mrs. Christy are extremely proud of all the progress made this year by this groups of students! But now, HELLO SUMMER TIME!!🥳☀️
