The Gretna No. 2 faculty will design engaging, challenging, and satisfying work for every student, in a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment. The use of technology is essential for engaging students and for preparing them for the 21st century work environment. It is essential that we create differentiated learning environments that promote higher-order thinking and that a

llow our students to become problem solvers. Student effort, task commitment, and ability are equally important. Partnerships between home, school, and community are crucial to student success.

On Wednesday, May 20, we officially sent our 5th grade Gators out into the world for their next adventure in middle school. As always, it is bittersweet for us. We love to see how prepared they are to take it on, but it is sad to see them leaving our little world. So instead of good-bye, weโ€™ll just say, โ€œSee ya later, Gators!โ€ Remember, once a Gator, always a Gator!
