Apogee Omaha believes that family sovereignty comes first. Parents will ALWAYS be the primary educators of their children.

On the first Friday of every month, we honor and celebrate this with our Family First Friday gatherings.

This month, parents joined their young leaders for lunch, outside free play, rest & digest and our afternoon huddle. The afternoon was filled with laughter, love, deep Socratic conversation, and shared community.

The leaders are proud to report that they "cooked" the parents in some two-hand touch football!

We spent a safe, intentional amount of time outside anyway.

Why? Because learning to tolerate reasonable discomfort builds confidence, resilience, and better decision-making. Kids don’t need to be protected from all discomfort—but they do need adults who model how to approach it wisely.

Bundle up. Go out.
Run. Tackle. Laugh. Play.
Pay attention. Come back in.

Sprint 2 SHOWCASE!

Welcome to the Apogee Omaha Parade of Homes

Our Leaders developed professional communication skills as they pitched their dream home designs to TWELVE different potential clients/buyers.

"Real Estate: Deal or No Deal" pitches included:
-A concept design sketch
-Personal vision board & goals
-At least 2 revisions of hand drawn floorplans, complete with perimeters and areas calculated for all rooms, hallways, etc.
-An interior design mood board for each room
-A 3D model, either hand built or rendered using Planner 5D drafting & design software
-And, of course, an asking price - based on comps for the location they'd choose to build their dream home in.
