Gretna High School Class of 2008

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mr. Corey Davis, who was involved in a car accident and sadly succumbed to his injuries. As we grieve, we also wish to uplift our friends in the Class of 2007, along with Corey’s family, classmates, and coworkers, who carry this loss most deeply.

Corey was well known and loved by many. One of my earliest memories of him goes back to middle school—his laugh was unforgettable, a sound that could brighten any room. Though his passing was sudden, the memories he gave us will last forever.

To those connected to Corey—family, friends, classmates, and colleagues—please know you are not alone. We stand together in support, offering strength and comfort during this difficult time.

GHS Hawks Class of 2008,

Many times throughout high school it was imperative the we stood in unity. We had so many great memories from high school that I could never forget. At times we all my have disagree a time or two but , when the time came that we needed to join as one WE DID. Over the next few days the Class of 08 needs to stand as one. My family and I along with the help of our Heavenly Father has decided that at this time we are going to trust solely on GOD. My sister is at Roanoke Memorial and she can have visitors for the next 24 or or so. Masks are required and only 4 people back at a time. God makes no mistakes. As the next few days pass. Please continue to Lift her up in your prayers for a devine healing. Also I have each one of you guys are in my prayers. Please keep her teachers in your prayers to. She loves Mrs. Willard. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me personally.

Class of 08. Along with Gretna High School. As we unite as one this week. Mountains have been moving. So we must continue to apply pressure.
