Some of our MHCC music students attended the regional Music For All professional development seminar today, held at David Douglas HS. We had a chance to hear from some amazing presenters, including composer and educator Richard Saucedo! It was a great day of learning and collaboration.

Too much fun was had yesterday to post these photos! Reading Session Day 2 was an absolute blast with guest composter / clinician Tyler S. Grant! We read through approximately 30 of his pieces, all of varying levels. Also, Tyler had the opportunity to tell us about all of his free resources on his website - companion guides, backing tracks, you name it! Plus, at the end of the day, each MS, HS, and college band director received a full band set thanks to Alfred Music! Beacock Music also hosted attendees at Migration Brewing for some after hours fun!
