Too much fun was had yesterday to post these photos! Reading Session Day 2 was an absolute blast with guest composter / clinician Tyler S. Grant! We read through approximately 30 of his pieces, all of varying levels. Also, Tyler had the opportunity to tell us about all of his free resources on his website - companion guides, backing tracks, you name it! Plus, at the end of the day, each MS, HS, and college band director received a full band set thanks to Alfred Music! Beacock Music also hosted attendees at Migration Brewing for some after hours fun!

Reading Session Day 1 - done ✅
50 concert band pieces led by 20 different conductors! Always a blast to switch to secondary instruments at the end of the day, too, conducted by music education students!

We had a guest lecturer in Introduction to Music Business this week!! William Karceski currently serves as the Project Program Specialist at the University of North Texas, where he manages Dallas ISD’s music lessons program. We are so glad you joined us William, thank you for sharing with us!
