The conclusion of our series, From Experience to Transformation, is now available.

The past does not have to be erased for its government to end. When the Word judges what experience established and restores proper order within the whole man, transformation begins moving toward visible fruit.

If this series helped you see the difference between what happened and what is still governing, do not let the discovery end with you. Like this post, follow His Image Ministry Church for more Christ-centered discoveries, and share it with someone who may be ready to bring the past beneath the judgment of the Word.

Read When the Word Restores Government:

The past need not be erased for its government to end. This conclusion gathers the series’ central discoveries and shows how the Word judges what became established, restores proper order wit…

Read Part Three of From Experience to Transformation: When Judgment Becomes Transformation.

I pray this brings clarity to your walk and glory to Yahweh our Elohim.

What happens when the governing judgment changes but an old response still appears? Part Three examines how the Word restores government, renews perception, redirects practice, and progressively br…

An event may last only a moment, yet the conclusion formed from it can govern us for years.

When does experience stop being history and begin shaping what we believe is true?

Professional Review: https://blog.hisimageministry.org

His Image Ministry Church’s blog offers a focused set of theological essays on the finished work of Christ as Paul presents it. Written mainly by George Maitland, the posts carefully unpack key distinctions such as conciliation versus reconciliation, justification versus simple pardon, the faith of Christ versus human faith as the activating cause, and how experience can harden into judgment that governs a person. The approach leans heavily on original-language grammar and consistent rendering rather than traditional systems.
The writing is methodical and question-driven. It resists the usual evangelical shortcuts and treats Scripture more like precise data than material for free contemplation. That gives the pieces real clarity and internal consistency. At the same time, the prose is dense, the distinctions get repeated, and the range stays deliberately narrow. Readers looking for broader coverage, warmer application, or more familiar language may find it demanding and occasionally confrontational.
Overall, this is strong material for serious students of Paul who care about linguistic accuracy and staying close to the source text. It is less suited to general readers or those already settled in decision-focused or tradition-heavy frameworks.

Every experience leaves an impression, but should every impression be permitted to govern us?

This new series explores what changes when our conclusions are brought beneath the government of the Word.

How does a real experience become an interpretation, an internal judgment, and eventually a governing influence within the whole man? This series examines that movement and asks what happens when e…

Immaturity is not a judgment of worth. It is a judgment concerning readiness, measure, or function.

The Law Identified Righteousness. Grace (Jesus Christ) Produces It.

The law of Moses truthfully identified righteousness. It established order, exposed transgression, and testified concerning what was right according to God’s judgment. Yet the law could not impart the life required to produce the righteousness it commanded.

Was the problem, then, with the law? No. The problem was that humanity, operating in the weakness of the flesh, did not possess the life necessary to fulfill what the law rightly required.

Grace does not declare the law mistaken. Grace accomplishes what the law could identify but could never impart. Grace places us in Christ, gives life through the Spirit, and produces within us the righteous expression toward which the law itself was always pointing.

The law could describe the fruit. It could identify the fruit. It could require the fruit. But only the life of Christ, operating through the Spirit, can produce the fruit.

Therefore, righteousness is not produced by placing people back under the law. Righteousness is expressed as those who have been placed in Christ walk according to the Spirit. What the law testified concerning externally, grace brings forth through life internally.

The law truthfully identified righteousness. Christ is its fulfillment, and the Spirit produces its living expression in those who are His.

See Romans 7:12; Romans 8:2–4; Galatians 3:21–24; Galatians 5:16–23.

What if we have correctly recognized the need for change, but identified the wrong one who needed to change?

Before asking what humanity must do, perhaps we should ask what God has already done.
