Hogan Cedars Elementary School families, don't forget to vote in today's primary election! Many school district policies, funding, and priorities are mandated or guided by state legislation. The people we choose set that legislation; don't miss your chance to weigh-in on who you want to advocate for your kiddos.

📣 It’s Election Day! Today, May 19, 2026, is the last day to vote in the Primary Election.

Ballots must be received at any county elections office in Oregon or Official Ballot Drop Site location by 8 p.m., tonight, May 19, 2026, or mailed and postmarked by May 19, 2026, to be counted.

District Administration will be listening and responding to committee member questions about the budget, and the GBSD School Board will hear additional public comment about plans for the 2026-27 school year.

Hogan Cedars Elementary School Parents, Elementary School Music Teacher Positions are part of the major cuts for Gresham-Barlow School District moving into the next school year.

The district is holding its Budget Committee Meeting, OPEN FOR PUBLIC INPUT, TOMORROW (Wednesday, 4/29) at Clear Creek Middle School Library at 7pm. This is your chance to share your thoughts on the proposed budget BEFORE it is even recommended to the school board for adoption.

Thursday, May 7th at 6pm, your PTSO will hold its Annual Meeting & Board of Directors Election. Light refreshments will be served, and childcare is provided by Champions, for current Hogan Cedars students.

Please join us to celebrate the successes we have accomplished this school year, and elect your PTSO board members for next school year!

If you would like to join virtually, would like to request an interpreter, or would like more information on the board positions listed below, please email Samantha at [email protected] by 12pm on May 6th.

Criteria for Board Membership:
Any Hogan Cedars parent, guardian, or grandparent is eligible to hold a PTSO board position, provided they are also a GBSD approved volunteer (volunteer status must be current as of July 1, 2026 to hold position, and maintained throughout the school year).

ALL positions have a 1 year term, and are up for election each school year.
