Health Science Class enjoyed a special guest speaker today from MORA (MS Organ Recovery Agency). Lorenzo O’Bryant helped our health science classes to understand what it means to be an organ donor. MORA’s mission is to save and improve lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation. Thank you to Mr. O’Bryant for sharing his knowledge with us!

Health Science Class is wrapping up infection control unit with skills check offs- donning and doffing PPE (personal protective equipment). PPE is used to provide protection from pathogens and helps to break the chain of infection. Handwashing is always # 1!!

🔥 First Welds, Big Accomplishments! 🔥

Today, our welding students took an exciting first step as they made their first welds! 👨‍🏭⚡

From learning the basics to putting their skills into practice, these students are gaining hands-on experience that will prepare them for success in the welding industry. We’re proud to watch them learn, grow, and build their skills one weld at a time! 💪🔧

The Grenada High School Help Hub provides students with access to basic necessities when they need them. As we begin a new school year, we’re working to restock our shelves and need your help.

Most-needed items include:
• Hygiene products
• New socks & underwear
• New or gently used school uniforms
• Shelf-stable food items
